now if the world was covered in water was it salt water or fresh water and how did all the fish survive who were not adapted to the other type of water?

Brackish water can support many species of both salt and fresh water fish. Rain HOH and subterranean HOH + Salt HOH = Brackish HOH

Salt and fresh water can, for a while, be layered, especially if the ambient conditions are proper.

To whom this might apply: Why try to make interesting basic inquiries into an excuse for trying to undermine the Bible. Best to try to figure out what the Bible means rather then redefining things you don't care to understand.

Altruistic punishment: like hurting the other and feeling justified because it is righteous to do so, perhaps assuming the punishment not to be extreme, even though it really may be.

Like the group-controlled consciouness clouds the individual's controlled, yet struggling, conscience.

What is needed here is a Godly standard for conscience. The counselor sets this standard for those that will listen, and by this the misapplied altrusitic nature is checked in its twisted self-morality.

For the repentent Christian, this is how it can work, as follows:

I have been forever accepted by God in his Son Jesus Christ, and I am declared by Him to be holy and blameless. (Romans 15:7; Ephesians 1:4)
Since God’s Son—perfect in every way—created all things by the Word of His mouth, has accepted me now and forever, it does not matter very much to me if someone else has rejected me. This tells me that in Jesus Christ, I am a person of great worth to My God and Father.

I think we have a common goal or goals - to share experiences and help each other, and to help those who are suffering and in doubt. Our potential for good is very remarkable. I hope that we can realize that potential.

Nice expression of love. Also, understand that all Christians, as such, have the anointing of the Holy Spirit. This is how they know they are saved.

I was sucked into the WT because of my ignorance about Christianity, not because of my intelligence level. I loved, I trusted, I was mislead, but not now.

I am a new creature in Christ. The old things of my past, lost life have passed away; and behold, God’s new Things have come into “my” life. (II Corinthians 5:17)

Knowing and experiencing this new creature is a remarkable actuality. Being saved is a "sure know" thing--no guesswork here.
